The Manotick Badminton Club is a non-profit recreational badminton club. The Club has been operating since the fall of 1976, with the majority of its members playing 12 years or more.
The ages of our members range from 14 years to 70+ years with skill levels from beginner to advanced.
Again this year we have an abbreviated Junior Club. The Junior Club plays on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm – 8:00pm, with the Adult Club playing from 8:00pm – 10:00pm.
The Club has 2 certified Level 1 coaches and several other members who are more than willing to give helpful advice to those who want it.
While there is no formal coaching drills given to the Juniors or adults, we are more than willing to instruct anyone who wants to learn the proper techniques for the basic shots as well as the proper movement around the court.
