Terms and Conditions of Registration
In consideration of the Manotick Badminton Club accepting the member’s application in the club, the member agrees to adhere to all Manotick Badminton Club rules, regulations, policies, procedures and player code of conduct in respect to the program and to abide by all terms and considerations of registration.
Returned Cheque Fee
A $25.00 service fee will be levied on all cheques returned as Non Sufficient Funds (NSF); Stop Payment ; or Funds not Cleared.
Refunds
Refunds will only be made within 2 weeks of the members registration. The ODBA registration fee and the OBA Insurance fee will be deducted from the refund if they have already been paid.
Severe Allergies
It is the responsibility of the member or parent/guardian of the member to identify themselves or their child(ren) if they have a severe allergy and/or require an Epipen ®.
Code of Conduct
In an effort to provide members with a safe and enjoyable environment, the Manotick Badminton Club will adopt a zero tolerance approach towards physical or psychological abuse, as well as intentional damage to Manotick Badminton Club property and the property of others. The Manotick Badminton Club reserves the right to take necessary measures including, but not limited to, suspension or termination of membership and/or contacting the police when any participation contravenes Manotick Badminton Club policies.
Indemnification
I, as the member or on behalf of the member, agree that by registering in the club, the member is knowingly and freely assuming certain injury and legal related risks. A member’s participation in the club will be deemed to indicate acceptance of such risks. The member, his/her heirs, executors and administrators agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Manotick Badminton Club liable from all claims, demands, actions or causes or action, loss, costs or damages that the Manotick Badminton Club may suffer, incur or be liable for in relation to any injury the Member may suffer or cause to others in connection with his/her negligence or action while participating in the club. Furthermore, the member, or parent/guardian of the member is unaware of any health-related problems that the member may have that could cause injury to himself/herself while participating in the club.
